360 Photo Booth App for One Event: Pay for a Week, Not a Year

You have one event coming up. Maybe you bought a 360 platform for your own wedding, rented one for a birthday, or you run a booth on the side and only get a booking every few weeks. Then you open the pricing pages of 360 photo booth apps and every one of them wants a monthly subscription, often with a yearly contract behind it.

You do not need that for one night. This guide covers what the app actually has to do at a single event, how many clips you should expect to record, and how to pay for one week of software instead of a month or a year.

Who this is for

  • Couples and families who bought or borrowed a 360 platform for a wedding, an anniversary or a big birthday.
  • Companies running one party, product launch or trade fair stand with their own booth.
  • New operators with a first booking and no idea yet whether a second one is coming.
  • Part-time operators who work one or two weekends a month and pay for software they use four days out of thirty.

What the app has to do on the night

The platform only spins. Everything guests remember comes from the app, so check these before you pick one:

  • No recording limit. A free tier with a handful of clips is fine for testing at home and useless at a party.
  • No watermark. At your own wedding you do not want someone else's logo on every clip your guests post.
  • Delivery without an app for guests. Guests scan a QR code and download their clip in the browser. Nobody installs anything in the queue.
  • Slow motion and effects that run on their own. Slow motion, reverse and boomerang should be applied automatically, not edited by hand after every spin.
  • Your own frame or logo. Names and a date on the clip turn a fun video into a keepsake.
  • A download window long enough for guests. Half the guests download on the night, the other half a few days later. Know how long the clips stay available.

How many clips will you record?

More than you think. A spin takes 10 to 20 seconds, and with groups stepping on and off, a busy booth does one clip every one to two minutes. Over a four-hour party that is 80 to 150 clips, and weddings with a dance floor next to the booth often go higher.

That is why free plans with ten recordings a month are for rehearsal, not for the event itself. Use the free plan to learn the app the week before, then switch to an unlimited plan for the night.

How to pay for one event, not a month

Easy 360 has a weekly plan for exactly this case. It costs €9 for a week on the web (€12.99 if you buy it inside the iPhone or Android app, because the stores take a cut). It includes everything in Premium: unlimited recordings, no watermark, your intro and outro, the video guestbook and the QR delivery page.

  1. A week or two before: install the app and try it on the free plan. Set up your frame, music and effects, and do a few test spins on the platform.
  2. One or two days before: subscribe to the weekly plan on the website. The same account then works in the phone app.
  3. On the night: record as much as you like. Guests get their QR code right after each spin.
  4. After the event: cancel. Premium stays on until the paid week ends, so cancelling the morning after loses you nothing.

The plan renews every week until you cancel it. That is the one thing to put in your calendar: cancel after the event, or keep it running if another booking comes in. If you want to check the numbers behind a single booking, the free Easy 360 Academy course shows how to price an event and what it really earns.

Tell guests when to download

While your plan is active, guests can download their clips for 30 days. Once the week ends, clips follow the free plan's window of 7 days from the moment they were recorded. In practice, guests have about a week after the event.

That is plenty if you say it out loud. Put a line on the screen or next to the booth ("Scan the code and save your clip this week") and send the gallery link to the family group chat the next morning. If you need the clips online longer, keep the plan running another week.

When a weekly plan stops making sense

Do the maths once and pick the cheapest option for how often you work:

  • One or two events a month: the weekly plan. Two weeks cost €18.
  • Three or more events a month: the monthly plan at €19 on the web. From the third week on, it is cheaper.
  • Working all year: the yearly plan at €149, which comes to about €12.42 a month.

If your one event turns into a side business, the numbers on what a 360 booth costs and what to charge are the next thing to read.

Questions people ask

Can I use a 360 photo booth app without a subscription? Yes, on the free plan: 10 recordings and 10 photos a month, with a watermark. Enough to test the platform, not enough for a party.

Is there a trial on the weekly plan? No. The 7-day free trial is on the monthly and yearly plans. For one event, the weekly plan is usually cheaper than remembering to cancel a trial.

Do guests need to install anything? No. They scan the QR code and the clip opens in their phone's browser, ready to save or share.

Does it work with the platform I bought online? Yes. The app only needs a phone or tablet on the arm. It does not care which brand of platform turns it.

Where do I cancel? If you subscribed on the website, in your account in the web app. If you subscribed in the app, in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions.

The short version

For one event you need unlimited recordings, no watermark and QR delivery for one night, not a yearly contract. Learn the app on the free plan, buy a week for €9 a day or two before, cancel after the party, and tell guests to save their clips that week.
