The Photo Booth Your Guests Never Have to Install
Easy 360 runs on your device. Guests scan a QR code with the camera app they already have and the video is on their phone seconds later — no app store, no account, no queue.
Why an app for guests breaks the booth
A busy booth gets somewhere around ninety seconds per guest. Ask them to install something first and you have added four steps to those ninety seconds: find the right app among the copies, download it over a venue connection shared by two hundred people, grant permissions, create an account. Some guests will do it. Most will say "send it to me later" — and later never comes, because the moment has passed and so has the reason to share it.
A photo booth with no app download removes that entirely. With Easy 360, the only software at the event is the one on your device. Your guest points their existing camera at a QR code and the video opens in the browser they already have. That is the whole guest experience — and it is identical on an iPhone bought last month and an Android handed down twice.
Three steps, and only one of them is yours
The guest does nothing they have not done a hundred times before.
1. You bring the only install
Easy 360 runs on your iPad, iPhone or Android device. That single install is the entire technical setup — no laptop, no capture card, no software on the venue's equipment.
2. The guest scans
A QR code appears the moment the recording is ready. Every phone camera sold in the last several years reads it straight from the viewfinder — no scanner app, no typing, no instructions needed.
3. The video opens on their phone
It lands in their browser, ready to save to the camera roll or send straight into whichever app they actually use. You never touch their phone and never collect their details.
What your guests never have to do
- No app store visit — nothing to search for, download or update, and nothing left on their phone afterwards
- No account, no password — sign-ups are for operators; guests only ever scan and save
- No email address — they are not asked for contact details in exchange for their own video
- No help from you — pointing a camera at a QR code needs no explaining, which matters when the queue is twelve people long
The same rule in every mode
Whatever you are running that night, the guest side stays the same.
360° video booth
The spin is recorded on your device, processed, and offered as a QR code. Guests scan and download while the next person steps onto the platform.
Photo booth mode
Templates and frames, shot on the same device. The finished photo reaches the guest the same way it always does here — by scan, not by install.
Video guestbook
Kiosk mode hands your device to the guest: the screen invites them to leave a video message, and they record it on your screen. Nothing touches their phone at all. See how the video guestbook works.
Big screen showcase
Clips can play on a TV or projector through a plain web page — so the screen at the venue needs no app either, just a browser.
What you do need at the event
Being honest about the short list is more useful than pretending there isn't one:
- Your device, with Easy 360 on it — an iPad, iPhone or Android phone or tablet
- An internet connection — the clip is uploaded so the QR code can serve it, and the guest's phone downloads it over the venue's wifi or their own mobile data
- A second device, optionally — used as a sharing station so the queue keeps moving while you keep recording
Frequently asked questions
Do my guests need to download an app? +
No. The QR code opens the video in the browser your guest already has. The only device running Easy 360 at the event is yours.
Do guests need to create an account? +
No. They scan and save. Accounts, sign-ups and passwords exist for operators only — a guest never gives an email address to receive their own video.
What do guests need on their phone? +
A camera that reads QR codes, which is standard on every iPhone and Android of the last several years, and an internet connection to download the file — either the venue’s wifi or their own mobile data.
How long do guests have to download their video? +
Scanning at the booth is the moment it works best. Recent clips stay downloadable for up to 24 hours, and we keep at most the 20 most recent clips per account, so at a busy event an older clip can be replaced quickly. Tell guests to save it on the spot.
Does the video guestbook need an app for guests? +
No. Kiosk mode turns your own device into the guestbook: you hand it over, the guest records a message on your screen, and nothing touches their phone at all.
Do I need an app? +
Yes — one. Easy 360 runs on your iPad, iPhone or Android device, and that single install is the whole setup. No laptop, no capture card, no software on the venue’s equipment.
