Lesson 7 of 10
How to Deliver 360 Booth Videos to Guests Fast
Why delivery speed decides reposts
A 360 clip is a social post waiting to happen. The guest steps off the platform, slightly dizzy and laughing, and wants to show friends right now. Ten minutes later they are at the bar. An hour later they have forgotten.
If the clip reaches their phone before they leave the booth, a good share of them post it that night. If you promise to send everything in a week, almost none of them will. Late delivery also kills the free marketing you are paying for with your time and your platform space.
So treat delivery as part of the product, not an afterthought. At a 3-hour wedding reception with 60 guests, a delivery plan that works in 15 seconds per guest is worth more than another lighting upgrade.
Think about the guests who do not post at all. They still keep the clip in their camera roll and show it to a friend on Monday. That only happens if the file reached them the same night.
The three ways to get a clip to a guest
A QR code on the booth screen is the fastest. The guest points their phone camera at it and the clip opens in the browser. No typing, no email address, no app install. This should be your default for every guest.
A share link is the backup. Some guests have an old phone, a cracked camera or a case that blocks the lens. Let them tap a share button that sends the same link to your phone's share sheet, or copy it into a chat. Same page, different route.
Email and a USB stick are slower and create work for you. Collecting addresses at the booth slows the queue, and sending files by hand after the event is exactly the delay you are trying to avoid. Keep them for the rare client who asks for the full gallery.
Whichever route you pick, make it visible. A printed sign beside the booth that says scan to get your clip saves your attendant from explaining it forty times. Say it once on the sign and once when the guest steps off.
What the delivery page must do
The page the QR code opens is the guest's whole experience of your brand after the spin. It has to load fast on mobile data, play the video without a login and offer a clear download button. A share button next to it helps, because most reposts start there.
Test it on a bad connection before the event. Stand in the venue's weakest corner and scan your own code. Venue basements and marquees often have poor signal, and a page that spins for 30 seconds loses the guest.
Add your own touch if you can. Your logo on the clip, or the event name on the page, tells everyone who sees the repost which booth made it. That is how a single wedding clip turns into your next enquiry.
Keep the page free of clutter. One video, one download button, one share button. Every extra step between the scan and the save costs you reposts.
Worked example with Easy 360
Easy 360 handles this flow from the phone that runs the booth. Before the event you type the event name in the settings. After each spin, a Scan QR Code card appears under the preview. The guest scans it and gets a clip page with a player, Download and Share buttons, and the date the link expires. No app is needed on their side.
A guest who cannot scan gets the same link from Share or Copy link. The event name becomes the page title and the start of the downloaded file name, so you can tell weddings apart later. Keep the phone online while guests scan, because the clip needs a moment to upload.
The exact taps are in the guest QR delivery guide. Read it once and run a dry test with a friend the day before your first event.
How long clips stay online
Delivery links do not last forever, and you should know the rule before you promise anything. In Easy 360 the clip stays on the delivery page for 7 days on the free plan and 30 days on a subscription. The page shows the exact expiry date.
Tell guests to tap Download on the night. Put a line in your client brief too: the host should save the clips they want within the window. Lesson 8 covers downloading the best clips for a highlight reel.
Whatever software you use, ask the same questions. How long do links stay up? What happens after? Can you download in bulk? Answer them before you quote retention to a client.
Write the expiry rule into your quote or your event sheet in one sentence. Clients rarely read it, but it protects you when a guest emails you three weeks later asking for a clip that no longer exists.
